* I cannot install Internet connection sharing properly using Windows
2000 Professional.

* I have followed every Guide that I can find to try and make a
internet connection from one computer to another. And fail at every
attempt

- Intel PIII-550mhz
- Intel P4-3.2ghz

* I can find each computer in the explorer, computers near me, from
each computer. And I can transfer files from and to each computer.

* Is there anyone that can read this and give me some advice on how to
get Internet connection sharing, and improve my home computer system.
I need to finish installling and upgrading the programs on the new
computer but I neeed accesss to the internet in order to do so. I do
not have a modem in the new computer.

* I would appreciate any good links on how to use program features for
Windows 2000. I search Windows Knowledge base and Google, But I cannot
find all the information I need and can understand. It would also be
good to find an Encyclopedia of computer terms and discriptions that
could be used as a reference. Annoyances.org has good information but
I still fail to get ICS running.

is the Intel P4-3.2g configured to get its IP configuration via DHCP or is
it statically configured? This computer is missing a default gateway. The DG
should be 192.168.0.1
