Cannot set permissions to web site using FrontPage 2003

You have to open the site "live" with FP. If it's still grayed out, then host does not allow that feature.

1. You must be working on the live/remote server in FP.
2. You must be working in a subweb/subsite on the live/remote server, not the root web.
3. Your web host must allow you to set unique permissions.

Thank you and Rob. What does "live" mean exactly? After I publish the web to
the server, I can see and delete the files in the server but cannot open
files in the server. Does that mean I opened the site "live" with FrontPage?
Thanks.

Live means you open FrontPage, click File > Open Web ( open Site in FP 2003 ) and then
enter:
http://yourwebsite.com as the web to open.
Enter your user name and password and you are now editing your live site.
