Cannot send/recieve in Outlook 2003

Cannot send/recieve in Outlook 2003, occasionally says
fatal error when trying to send. Test messages created
using the "test this account" tab send OK. Cannot access
the Send/Recieve Group panel under the tools menu either.

Thanks anyone for any help on this.

Try creating a new mail profile under Control Panel->Mail Icon->Show
Profiles.

Try starting Outlook in safe mode. Go Start>Run and type in outlook.exe /safe and hit OK.

See if you can send and receive then.

Thanks for the help, setting up a new mail profile fixed
the problem.
