Cannot send email

I have set up a pop 3 email account (Cable email account)
according to the settings from my service provider. I can
receive email with no problem. When sending, I get an
error message: "Sending reported error (0x800CCC78).
Please verify your email address in account properties.
Server responded:530 authentication required". This is on
all of my pc's (work, home, laptop).

HELP!

As the message says, you need to authenticate to your outbound (SMTP) server
in your account properties. Probably using the same credentials as for the
POP account. Check with your ISP iif you're not sure.
