Cannot select "Create MDE-File"

Hi,

The option to create a MDE file is not accessible in
Access. I am using Access 2002.

Do I have to do something before I can use this.

Help would be appreciated.

Sander,

You have probably created your database in the default file format, which is
Access 2000 (check the caption on the Database Window - it will state the
file format in parentheses). You may only create an MDE file in Access 2002
if the file format is also 2002
