Whenever I try to browse to a remote computer to delete their Temporary
Internet Files to either remove an adware component or just to clear up
space; all I see is my own Internet Files. According to Micorsoft's
site, this is "by design". Which is stupid. Is there a way to
actually see the remote computers Internet files???

I am going to make a few assumptions here...
You work for a company on their computers
All of these computers are on a single network.
All of the computers are XP Pro
You have administrative rights to all of these computers.

If you just want to see the remote computers IE files to see where they
have gone you can use the program link below.

http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/iehv.html

After you have installed it on your comptuer you can go to file, select
history folder and type in the following:

\\remotecomputer\c$\documents and settings\username\local
settings\history

For this to work you must have admin rights to the computer because
only administrators can connect to the C$ share.

This program will allow you to view their internet history. You can
also delete the files within the program but I do not know if it will
delete all of the files you want it to delete.

Even if this doesn't solve your problem it is a great way to find out
where your users are going on the internet.

Your assumptions are correct.

That program is pretty cool..thanks for that link.

However, I still can't delete the actual internet files with it. It
will come in handy though! Thanks again.
