Cannot see PC's in network

I have 3 PC's all running WinXP Pro on a wired network. Two have no probs,
but the other cannot see the other two and they can't see it. When i go to My
Network Places and click View Workgroup Computers, there are 0 objects. They
can all ping each other, and they share an internet connection which is
working.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Hi Megs,

One of the most common causes of this problem would be a misconfigured or
overlooked personal firewall, or other security component. There are several
other possibilities too, and any might be the cause of your problem. Read this
article with an open mind.

For more direct help, provide "browstat status", "ipconfig /all", "net config
server", and "net config workstation", from each computer, so we can diagnose
the problem. Read this article, and linked articles, and follow instructions
precisely (download browstat!):

Thanks Chuck,

I ended up uninstalling the NIC & then let Windows detect it and re-install
it, which worked. Thanks so much for your reply.
