cannot save files

Hi,

been racking my little brains... cannot save files to my external drive.
this p-roblem never existed then wham suddenly it was there!

Please help. Al virus and spy software is up tp date.

Frustrated in Australia...

Your external disk may be full, be set to write protected, or failed.
Besides not saving do you get any error message? Can you read the external
drive?
