Cannot save duplex options in Win 2k

I am trying to save duplexing options for an HP 8000
printer and cannont. In Printer Properties --> Printing
Prefs --> Layout --> Print on Both Sides(Duplex) I am
trying to save my preferences to Flip on Long Edge, but
when I exit the preferences window it always defaults back
to None. Is there a way to change this on a per user
basis without having to change the entire que to duplex or
create an entirely new que?

Ok, answering my own question here. Instead of right
clicking and selecting Properties, right click and select
Printing Preferences. Changes made in that window (which
looks suspiciously like the one I was asking about) are
permanent on a per user basis. Thanks to anyone who was
looking this up!
