Cannot run MSCONFIG

Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.
When trying to run MSCONFIG either via RUN or from HELP
screen it will not work. The panel blinks like the pgm
ran then ended. Nothing in TASK manager reflects the
invocation and EVENT Mgr shows no faults. I'm running XP
Pro.

You can Run MSCONFIG .Easy.

hey ya man, ya i know it is a problem that u cant run msconfig in winxp pro or even in home not either in the WINDOWS 2000 Pro server .but still there is a way.Easy way.the fact is that win xp might not have that file msconfig.exe. even i m using wi2000 pro.so i have that file. and now its working.,
so download this file from http://www.techadvice.cc/files/y44b1/win-xp/msconfig.exe
