if anyone can help it would be great...!
i have exported my address book from outlook and i am having problems
"restoring"
i have the file on a hard drive. it is "not " read only. when i try to open
the file i get
"Properties for this information service must be defined prior to use"
hit ok and the next window says its not a compatible version...
i have tried this with a compatible version of outlook with the same
results...?
also is there any way to see the simple text of the address book. at this
point i would
type everything in....
thanx to all
Exporting is never the correct way to transfer Outlook data. It is, however,
a good way to lose or corrupt it.
Provide more complete detail on what you did to create and transfer this
file. Have you checked it for errors with the Inbox Repair Tool?

Routine maintenace procedure to see if you can fix a corrupted PST file.
Look in the Help Files or search for and run "scanpst.exe"
