Cannot restore or backup licenses using Windows Media Player 10

Question on Windows Media Player version 10.00.00.3802
-------------------------------------------------------------------

Receiving the following message when trying to restore or backup licenses:

"Secure storage protection error. Restore your licenses from a previous
backup and try again"

Any ideas?
