Cannot reply to distribution list from an email sent via POP3

Hi,
I have problem when replying an email that was sent to a distribution list
via POP3 server. The distribution group name could not be resolved into an
email address.
For instance, I received an email sent to 'IT' distribution list,
(e-mail address removed). When I tried to Reply All to that email, that distribution
list would be shown as IT, instead of resolving as (e-mail address removed). So, that
email would be bounced back as bad email address.
Would you please kindly help. Thank You so very much.
