Cannot remember logon password!?! HELP!! No reset disk available. Laptop XP Pro. Any ideas?

AAARRGGHH!!!! I cannot remember my logon password for my administrator account on my notebook and didn;t know that you should have a password reset disk!!! Please, please, please, can someone help me as I want to retrieve my information. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can find out my password or somehow get past the welcome screen to reset my password without a password reset disk? Desparately need help! Thank you... If anyone can help, please e-mail me!!! My laptop isn't connected to the internet as I don't want it to have a connection! Need a miracle!!!

If you are comfortable opening up your computer you could clear the cmos and
then reset the bios. That should clear the password.

Computers are different. The instructions for your computer are in the manual that came with it.

Not that this will help. The administrator password isn't stored or has anything to do with the BIOS.

If this is the inbuilt Admin account then tough luck. If it a created admin account then press Ctrl + Alt + Delete twice and enter the username administrator with the password you set while installing.
