Cannot reconnect to a network drive

I have a W2K environment and run a remote office of 30 people on Terminal
Server. I have many network drives that map to different shares on the same
server. For some reason, every six months or so, the users cannot reconnect
to the O: drive, which simply is a storage bin for Word/Excel docs. If they
go into My Computer, disconnect the drive, log off the terminal server and
log in, they are good for another six months or so. However, this little fix
no longer seems to be working. It works for some but not others. I rebooted
the server which cleared up the problem for a week. Now it is back.

Any ideas?

Do they get an error message?
Is there anything in the EventLog?
Can this have any relation with changed passwords?
