Cannot receive mail

I've been using Outlook 2003 for about a year on Windows XP Professional.
Recently I've had problems recieving e-mails for short periods, and now the
system has locked me out altogether. I can access my mail via a company
webmail address without problem. I get an error report '0x800CCC0F connection
to the server was interrupted' but we know the server is working perfectly. I
can send messages without problem.
