Cannot read pages with scripts

I am not going to bore anyone with me long sad story
(hicjacking/WinTools, etc. etc)at this time but

In attempting to correct these problems (as well as
installing Firewall ZoneZlarm) my Security settings have
changed and I cannot access certain sites or parts thereof.

For example, these newsgroups. I can get on the pages but
cannot expand (to read replies) or post. I am now at my
local Internet Cafe.

Can someone please help. What have a set (or re-set)
incorrectly?

When replying please post as new message or I won't be
able to read it. If this does not work i will be
frequenting this cafe
