Have a empty directory under the Program Files directory that when I try
to delete, I get the following error message:
Cannot Delete file: Cannot read from the source file or disk

Any advice on how to get around this error. I've run chkdsk and everything
looks ok.

Thanks!

From a command prompt:, change to the Program Files folder, and run the command:

RD /s /q <foldername>

to delete it.

I have the same problem & have tried everything with no luck! My folder sits
on the desktop & in the AIM95 directory. it has no name & is empty. I can't
MS does not have an answer since so many people have this problem.
