Cannot print to local printer with domain account

Windows 2000 Professional client on Windows 2000 domain

Local HP Laserjet printer on LPT1

Can print no problem with the local administrator account

Cannot print with any domain account including domain
administrator, the job just disappears.

Domain user account in question is a member of the local
administrators account.

Any ideas??
