Cannot print from Word, but from pdf

Hello,

I have a user, who created word document. its about 1MB doc., has 34 pages.
There are few embedded pictures/drawings in it.

He cannot print to any printer. But, if he converts the file into pdf
format, it prints fine.
Copying the whole doc. inot new word doc, causes memory errors and crash.

Any suggestions, on how to resolve this.

A Repair Installation of Word would be my first suggestion... (Control
Panel, Add/Remove Programs.... Click on Word (or Office)... then on Change.

I don't think its just one machine. Mutiple users cannot print same file
from their PC.
Not sure, if its related to word format or what?
