Cannot print from Windows Mail

I cna print from IE and other programs. I can't print from Windows Mail. I
get an error message that the computer can't communicate with the printer.
I've followed all of the recommendations (check plugs, etc, etc) and have
reinstalled the printer drivers. I have a Dell 948 printer.
Any suggestion would be much appreciated.
