Cannot print from Internet Explorer 6.0

I am unable to print from Internet Explorer 6.0.(Windows
2000) When I press the print icon or the File Print
function, nothing happens - no print dialog option box,
nothing...... I have already tried the knowledge base and
have not found a solution that worked
any help appreciated.
