Cannot play a DVD because of error code F4D4136

I try to play A DVD and I get this message: Error
code F4D4136 The tv out port of your display card is not
working properly.

Details: This copyright protected disk cannot be played
when the T.V out function is enabled.

Did you try turning off the TV out function of your video card? It does not
need to be enabled unless you are trying to watch the DVD on a TV. Also,
have you downloaded the latest drivers from the video card manufacturer?

I downloaded from: ftp://download.nvidia.com/Windows/ 40.71 worked
for me.
But what a PITA to solve this!!!

It also re-arranged my desktop so i had to move my shortcuts to where
I like them. Not sure what advanced display features we loose but,
seems to be running fine.
