Cannot open program

I downloaded gametap and can't seem to open it. The message says "gametap
application has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working
correctly" Does anyone have any idea what that problem might be? And if so
how on earth do I fix it? All I want to do is play Myst :-( Any help would
be greatly appreciated...
