Cannot Open Outlook 2007 when not connect to internet

My subject line kind of says it all. When I try to open outlook while not
connected to the internet I get a message that says outlook must close down.
I use outlook for lots of things besides email so I need to use the system
when I am not connected from time to time and this is very frustrating.
Anyone know of any solutions?
 
What type of accounts do you use?
Try with a new profile and just a basic POP3 account and see if it opens.
 
I have two mail accounts - both POP3. The only other thing I have is the RSS
feed from Microsoft on "help and how to with outllook 2007"
