Cannot open Outlook 2003

I recently installed Office 2003 Professionalon my PC. I attempted to open
Outlook 2003 and received the following message: "Your Microsoft Exchange
Server is unavailable." I then tried working offline. I received the
following message: "Unable to open your default e-mail folders. Your profile
is not configured" after clicking "Work Offline."

I don't know how to disable the exchange server so that Outlook 2003 can be
opened and configured. Please help.

Thank You,
