At one point in time I got a virus on my computer. After clearing my computer
and installing my programs back on to my computer, I could not open my
display folder for some reason. I cannot change my screen saver or my
background because I cannot access this folder. Please help.

Hi Hev,

Are you referring to the tabs in the Display Properties applet?

Hello,

It is the folder in the control panel. Hope that helps some.
Thank you.

It's called "applet". See if the following command helps, from Start/Run:

DESK.CPL

This should open the Display Properties dialog, with the Themes tab selected
by default.

That did not do anything. Is there another possible way? Thanks again for
your help.

Nope. XP does not do this automatically, unless you do a repair/reinstall.
