I can't open Outlook. Says there's an error detected and I need to go to
Inbox repair tool (Scanpst.exe). How do I do this if I can't open Outlook?

Outlook actually must be closed when you run the inbox repair tool.

First you must find scanpst.exe, use the find files/folders function. Then
you must know where your PST file is located. You cana always do another
search for *.pst. The default PST filename is usually outlook.pst but if it's
been renamed, it's easier to use the * as a wildcard.

Once you find scanpst.exe double-click it, and follow the instructions. It
will ask you to browse to your PST file location, which is why you must know
where it is. Browse to the PST and then get the inbox repair tool scanning
it. If it finds errors and repairs them, once it's done run it again until no
further errors are found. Sometimes you'll need to run it several times.

Then try opening Outlook. Post back and let me know how you make out.
