Cannot open folders

I'm not sure what I did, but all my folders only open with
the search finder view when I double-click, and they only
open when I right-click them. Also when I right-click, it
shows "search", then "open". This doesn't happen with
other applications, just file folders. How do I revert
back to the normal view, without the search finder?

You can set the association for file folders in Explorer's Folder Options...
under the Tools menu. In the Folder Options dialog, choose the File Types
tab. Click on the File Types column heading to sort by file types. Find the
entry for Folder, then choose the [Advanced] button. Highlight Open, and
choose the [Select Default] button.
