Cannot open Default data file.

I have Outlook 2003 and an Exchange Server on a LAN I accidentally deleted a
profile for a user whose account I assumed by changing the user name. On my
Local computer the previous user is still listed in the directory. I had
previously used his outlook account successfully, but could not change names
in the directory from that of the previous user, probably because I can't
rename a computer on the domain. Let me know if I am wrong.
Anyway,
When I try to open Outlook with my network ID, I get the message: Unable to
open outlook window. The set of folders could not be opened.

I believed I had to convert some ost files to pst files and paid to have
this done. I opened and extracted the file and it did not help. Apparently
there is something else I must do so I can open the default data file
required to open Outlook.
Please let me know what to do. I have found information on Outlook 98 in
the Microsoft technical help files. I need to know what will work.

Thanks.

If you are the administrator of the system then you can take the
ownership of that user and then change the name & password to whatever
you want it to be.

Why not speak to the administrator/network manager who can help you out.
