Attachments will not open: To open tjis file, windows need to know the
program that created it, windows cna go on line to look for it automaticaly,
or you can manualy select from a list of programs on your computer.

That window comes out after clicking Opon

What can be done to correct this problem?

This group is for MS Access, and it does not sound like your question
has to do with Access, so you would do better to ask in a different
newsgroup.

To answer your question though, you need to asscoiate that file
extension with a program to open it. In Windows Explorer go to Tools,
and select Folder Options, then click on the File Types tab, and
associate the extension with the program you want to open it with.
