Cannot login to TS after upgrade.

We were running Win2k sp3 on a 266 mhz hp kayak and had no trouble loggin
into TS with RDC. We only use Admin mode as this is a IIS and VSS server.
It was slow, of course. Management saw fit to spring for a 2.4ghz P4 with
2gig of ram. I did a disk to disk copy with Western Digital's disk manager
followed by a repair upgrade to Win2k sp4. The old 266 was retired to the
junk heap.

Everything else is ok, IIS, VSS, etc. However when I try to connect to TS
I get the dreaded 'cannot connect' message with the suggestions about TS
being busy or networking issues, etc. Nothing shows up in the event logs.
TS seems to be up and running on the sever, you can see the console
connection for example. When the RDC connection shows up it's state is
'down', but there does not appear to be any way to 'activate' it.

Any ideas on where to look next will be appreciated.

Maybe the answer on what to do about Remote Desktop is obvious to everyone
else but, I could not get it working.

I downloaded and installed RealVNC and it works just fine. One day the
Microsoft product might be this good.
