Cannot log on after clean install of w2k

I just did a clean install of w2k and when trying to log
on for the first time I get the following message:

The system cannot log you on due to the following error:
The specified domain either does not exist or could not be
contacted.
Please try again or consult you system admin.

There has never been a domain. The only OS ever installed
on this computer has been w2k. Can I clear the problem
via the jumper on the sys. board?

Im so behind. I feel like throwing the computer off the
balcony. Please Help!

You probably will need to reinstall. During the installation you are asked if the
computer is going to be a member of a domain or a workgroup. Be sure to select
workgroup. --- Steve
