Cannot link to file on internet

Hi All,
I have no issues relinking my tables to a database file on local address,
but i "cannot" link to a database file on the internet.

Using the Linked Table Manager, at "Select New Location" under file name,
I typed (something to the effect of) "http://www.123.com/123/ABC.accdb"
The error message says "Not A Valid File Name"

Help Please ! :)

This is normal. Access can't link via http or ftp (linking across a
WAN is usually not a good idea either). The usual drill is to make a
local copy of the file and link to that.
