Dear All

I have 3 hard disks in my computer, and I am trying to install Windows
Vista in one them, which is empty. However, I am not being successful,
as I am getting the following error message:

"Windows is unable to find a system volume that meets its criteria"

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Paul

You need to tell us the specs of your computer and the sizes of those
drives.

Disconnect 2 of the hard disks.
What size is the disk?
Do you have an upgrade Vista or full install?

vista requires at least 15gb of free space.
20gb is a sweet spot.

there are several vista news groups on the microsoft news servers.

Thanks to all respondents. I have meanwhile solved the problem by
disconnecting the two nonrelevant disks and then (with only one disk)
I was successful with installing Windows Vista.
