When I begin to install the ATI Display Driver, it says:"Try to setup
your display adapter with a standard VGA driver before setup". It
appeard after I finished setuping Windows XP SP2.I have tried to
install it from Standard VGA Mode and Safe Mode, but neither worked. It
always shows the option to me. Help me.By the way, my display card is
Radom 9000.

Uninstall/Remove your graphics card in Device Manager. Reboot and start
over. Windows should detect it and ask the option of you steering to the
driver you want or letting Windows install what it wants.

Also, check to see if your computer manufacturer's website offers the ATI
driver that you need. I had a similar problem when i was trying to install
ATI drivers from the ATI website. ATI told me that, depending on who makes
your computer, the manufacturer may make there own modifications. In short,
use the drivers offered by the manufacturer rather than the ones on ATI's
website. (but do what smoker~ recommends before trying to install again)
