Cannot install monitor drivers

Hello,

Under Control Panel > Display > Settings > Advanced > Monitor the
button which allow the drivers installation in disabled. The current
monitor is "Ecran par defaut" (Default monitor) and I would like to
install my specific monitor drivers.

Hi,
You are login as a administrator account are user account.If it is
user account please add it local administrator group.

Than you can install monitor drivers from device manager
option also.
Go to device manager under monitor option bydefault plug and play
monitor will be available.Right click plug and play monitor=>
properties=> Driver=> Update driver.

I work under Windows 2000 SP4 and the monitor doesn't seem to appear
from device manager.

This can happen if you are using generic drivers for the video/graphics
adapter. Get current version fron the adapter manufacturer.
