How can it say cannot find server when it doesn't come
up ?
Please provide more information:
- what type of connection, dialup, DSL, Cable ?
- Can you still use the internet with other programs ?
- in a DOS window type ipconfig and report the ip address
for your machine when connected to the internet.

I just upgraded to XP and now can not log onto Symantecs
Liveupdate nor Microsoft registrations page for XP. I can
access sites via aol but when something tries to use IE I
get a "server not found" msg.
