cannot find server

My computer was recently updated from Windows 98 to
Windows 2000 Professional. I used to be able to see my
workgroup server from my machine, but now I no longer
can. What am I missing?
 
NetBuie. By default Win98 used NetBuie to view the network. By default Win2K
uses TCP. Install NetBuie on the Win2K machine.
Another issue maybe DNS. Win2k uses DNS for everything. If adding NetBuie
does not solve your problem you may have to setup a DNS zone for your
system.
