Cannot Enable XP Home Fire Wall

My XP-Home Internet Connection Firewall option is grayed
out under Local Area Connection Properties. How can I
enable the XP Firewall? Help Appreciated. Bill

look in internet options>advanced see if box is checked,
you might be better off getting a better firewall. try
outpost.

Thanks for replying. What box? Use Passive FTP? Tried
this, but it did not work. Not sure what to look for?

Run services.msc and verify that ICS/ICF service (spelled out) is
running automatically.

Thanks for responding. Checked ICS/ICF, it is status
is "started" and startup type is "automatic". Any other
