Cannot double-click graph to edit

I have several new installations of Office 2003 that I've noticed when trying
to edit a graph in Powerpoint, I have to right-click and select Edit, instead
of just double-clicking the graph, like all the tutorials mention to do. Any
ideas appreciated.

Do you have the Swiff Player installed? Try removing it.

I do not have the Swiff player installed, unless it does not show under the program list for Add/Remove programs. Would that have been bundled with anything in particular?

Thanks. I've run into some problems with the WebEx stuff and as I recall others have reported
problems with Google's addins. You might try using Tools, Addins to unload rather than remove them
and see if that helps.

If not, remove them and restart PPT.

Wow! I unloaded the WebEx add-in as you mentioned (it was the only listed, by
the way) and I could immediately double-click to edit the graph. thank you
for your help.

Excellent, and thanks for letting everyone know what worked for you.

I've added this to

so you can take credit for helping others solve this same problem.
