Cannot Display full memory

Joey jo jo

I Have an IBM pentium 3 laptop with windows xp
professional and a 20 gig harddrive.

I recently formatted my comp and after I was done it
would only display 2 gigs of my harddrive.I cannot
download anything because I dont have enough memory. i
would like to know how to get the other 18 gigs back.

Any info would be greatly appreciated

The hard drive size has nothing to do with amount of memory.

The general (first) tab when clicking System in the control panel will show
your memory. Right clicking on the C drive when you open My computer and
selecting Properties will show you the size of your hard drive and how much
is being used.
