cannot display emails

Suddenly my laptop will not display incoming emails. I disenabled McAfee
then downloaded Windows Live. The first time I opened Windows Live all of
backed up emails displayed. When I left Live for a time and returned all of
those messages had disappeared and I cannot pull them up again. I am at a
loss as to where to go now. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

While viewing each affected folder in turn.

In WM, Try view>current view ensure that show all messages is selected

In WLM, View>Show or Hide ensure that show all messages is selected.
