After I write a CDROM if I try to delete the temporary
files I usually get the error message to the effect
of "Files can not be deleted because they are in use". I
can only delete them if I log off and log back on.
And ideas?
Thanks,
Chas

You cannot write to a CD-ROM: it is Read Only. After writing to a CD-R
(Recordable) or CD-RW (ReWritable), and you have clicked [Finish] in the CD
burning Wizard window, wait a while especially you have just burnt a large
file; the temporary file will be deleted automatically. There is no need to
delete the temporary file specifically yourself. Even if I go straight to
the *source* file and attempt to delete the file immediately after the
burning is complete, I don't get this "Files cannot be deleted..." notice.
Please explain in more *detail* what you did to invoke, "usually" you said,
the error message.

I too am having this problem, only I cannot delete even
after logging off!
