There is a folder on my desktop with nothing in it called snapshot that I
cannot delete. Can someone tell me how to get this eyesore off of my desktop
for good so I don't have to keep deleting it every time I turn on my machine?

I tried that and killbot and it makes it dissapear for ten seconds then it
comes back.

I cant seem to find much on it. I have never heard of it.

Anyways, what comes to mind is booting to safe mode and then deleting
the file, then see if it comes back. I have a fealing that there is a
process running that keeps making it when you delete it (not sure
though)--- so if you boot in safe mode that process probably wont run.
If you successfully delete and does not come back restart windows
normally.

At this point it will probably come back. From then what I would
suggest to do is bring up task manager and end task (one at a time,
and then try to delete folder) on any process that has your user name
(exept for explorer)

Like I said, I dont know. That is just what I would try

I tryed what you said and it didn't work, the folder always comes back.
Could this be a virus of some kind? The computer has AVG and its up
to date but I was thinking maybe it needsd something else for viri?

sorry about the multiple post, it was an accident. I did a virus scan and
nothing came up. I can't get rid of this thing
