Cannot delete report

I am unable to delete a report that I started to create, but don't believe I
ever saved. When I try to delete it, no error message appears, but the name
of the report still shows up in my report list. When I try to open it, I get
an error message (The report name...you entered in either the property sheet
or macro is misspelled or refers to a report that doesn't exist...). When I
look at the details view of all my reports, it only shows 12:00 AM for the
"modified" and "created" fields. Further, when I try to use the switchboard
manager to create a link to open a different report, it won't let me do that
saying "for loop not initiated."

Any idea how to fix this problem? Thanks!

One solution would be to create a new (blank) database, and import
everything except the bad report into the new database.
