I installed a usb interface for audio and midi. but I had to send it back. I
removed the drivers, but there is an icon in control panel called US 122
that pertains to that device. there is no option to delete it.

so I went to registry and searched for "us 122" and deleted the keys I
found, but some of them wont be deleted. the message says "error deleting".
is there something I can change to give my permision to delete these keys?

I am the only owner and I am signed on as administrator.

run regedit32 goto the key. on the security menu click
permissions , give your self full control , exit then run
regedit and delete the key.

When you come to a key that refuses to be deleted do this:

Click on EDIT, click permissions. Set the key (make sure it's
highlighted) to FULL control for administrators. (that's you)

Now delete it. You're done.

There is no such program as "regedit32". You may be referring to
regedt32.exe which just calls regedit.exe. Permissions are set from
the EDIT menu by clicking on "permissions". You're thinking of
Win2000......
