Cannot Delete message from Deleted folder!

Hi,
Im having diffictulty deleting a message in my deleted folder. Ive cleared
every other message apart from this one!
I get the error message "The message interface has returned an unknown
error, if this problem persists please restart outlook"
ive tried restarting and it makes no difference!

Outlook version 2003 Fully up to date !
Windows XP Also Fully up to date !
Celeron 2.8mhz
704mb ram
Shared graphics :S

Can you right-click on the email and scroll to delete? Highlight it and hit
the delete key? If those don't work, try this:

Simon,

Had this problem last year and think that it is caused by the database
corrupting. I believe that I solved it using the Detect and Repair function
found in Help.
