Cannot Delete Folders

M

Mike

I just installed WindowsXP and there are some folders I would like to
delete. Each time I try to delete a fold, the screen says it is, " in
use by another person or program"

I am the only one using the computer and am not using this program nor
am I using practically any other program. I have changed these file
Properities from "Read Only" to "Archive" and still no luck. One of
the probgrams I want to delete is, "Outlook Express". It is not listed
in "Add and remove problems"

Please help,

Mike

PS: I didn't put in the name of an Administrator and I put in "Mike"
as the only user.

PaulM brought up a good point. You are not trying to delete the Outlook
Express folder itself are you? Outlook Express can not be completely
uninstalled from Windows. You can remove some of the registry entries by
following the link below, but the program itself can not be removed. If you
are having problems deleting a folder that you might have made inside the
Outlook Express folder follow my first post.
