Cannot delete files

When I try to delete some files I get an error message
"Cannot read from source file" and I cannot delete these
files. How can I get around this error?

Select D and scroll to Delete Undeletable Files.

I had this problem and i did a work around - if you copy all the files (that
you want to keep) out of the folder that contains the bad file. then delete
the folder (the one that contains the bad file).
it worked for me.
